Vocabulary for greeting in Thai

1. Hello = sà-wàt-dii (สวัสดี)
2. Hello for man = sà-wàt-dii kráp (สวัสดีครับ)
3. Hello for woman = sà-wàt-dii kà (สวัสดีค่ะ)
4. Thank you = kàawp-kun (ขอบคุณ)
5. Sorry, excuse me = kăaw-tôot (ขอโทษ)

• ná ká / ná kráp (นะคะ / นะครับ) = another option for polite ending words for older people or people you do not know well and you want to be polite

10. Healthy, relax = sà-baai (สบาย)
11. Good = dii (ดี)
12. Yes, no question word = mái (ไหม) *Don‘t need to answer with yes (châi) or no (mâi) like in English but with the verb/adjective directly.
13. Getting sick = mâi sà-baai (ไม่สบาย)

Negative = Mâi + Verb/Adjective

14. A little bit = nít-nàwi (นิดหน่อย)
